On 7 October 2026,Dr. Dora Katsamori, Associate Researcher at NCSR “Demokritos”, presented YouthGovAI project at the Conference titled “Children’s Rights and Citizenship: Educational Practices and Democratic Interventions to Amplify Children’s Voices.” The Conference was organised by the Department of Social and Educational Policy of the University of the Peloponnese.
During the workshop “Young People in a Digital World: The Role of Educators,” she presented YouthGovAI platform to a targeted audience of academics from the University of Rouen Normandie and the University of the Peloponnese, primary and secondary school teachers from Corinth, and education advisors and supervisors from the region. She highlighted the projects’ mission to empower young people and youth organisations to take an active role in shaping AI policy and governance across Europe. During the workshop, she presented the projects’ educational platform, explored participants’ professional needs and established direct channels of communication to gather feedback and strengthen engagement with the community.
